TEXA Konfort 780 Touch BI-GAS works with both R134a and R1234yf. The station auto-detects the refrigerant type and blocks charging if you try to mix them. Cars up to 2015-2017 typically use R134a (VW Golf 6/7, BMW E90/F30, Toyota Corolla up to 2018). Newer models use R1234yf (VW Golf 8, BMW G20, Mercedes W206, Toyota Corolla from 2019, Hyundai Tucson from 2021, Kia Sportage from 2022, Tesla Model 3/Y). From 2027 we're adding the TEXA Konfort 744, a station for R744 (CO₂), the refrigerant Mercedes and BMW are introducing in their newest systems.
When to visit us?
If your AC blows warm air or cools weakly. If you're not sure which refrigerant your car uses, just come in and the station will identify it.
